Full Biography

Socially provocative yet broadly funny, Greg Giraldo became one of the most versatile and highly entertaining comedians on the circuit before his premature death in September, 2010.

Greg regularly featured on America's Comedy Central and became one of the faces of the network.

He appeared on Comedy Central's Root Of All Evil and The Gong Show, was a regular panellist on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and starred in a half-hour comedy special, Comedy Central Presents: Greg Giraldo and one-hour special Midlife Vices.

Along with appearing on Last Laugh on numerous occasions and hosting Friday Night Stand-up for the network, Greg is well remembered for being the top roaster for Comedy Central Roasts. He roasted celebrities such as Larry the Cable Guy, Bob Saget, William Shatner, Flavor Flav, Pamela Anderson, Joan Rivers and David Hasselhoff.

Greg also appeared on late night TV more than most comedians. He used to regularly contribute a 'rant' segment to Last Call with Carson Daly, where he provided his unique spin on current events, politics and family life.

Greg also performed on The Late Show with David Letterman and was a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien a dozen times. In addition, Greg served as a judge on the seventh season of NBC's Last Comic Standing.

In New York, Greg was known to be a regular at Manhattan clubs such as Gotham Comedy Club and the Comedy Cellar.

The comedy world mourned the loss of the great Greg Giraldo on September 29, 2010. He will be missed.
