Olivia Lee is the new queen of the hidden camera. But this is no “in comes Officer Beadle”; Olivia Lee pushes the boundaries leaving her quarry bemused and maybe a little shocked.

Born in 1977, Olivia studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, whose alumni include Jennifer Saunders, Joss Ackland and Judi Dench.

She worked at an advertising agency for a year but gave it up to go full time into presenting and comedy.

In 2004 she caught the eye of many executives when she played Basil Brush's girlfriend on the BBC's The Basil Brush Show and was soon all over E4. Her pranks on Channel 4's Balls Of Steel set her up for her true calling.

Olivia Lee really has balls of steel of her own to do what she does. In numerous shows, including Comedy Central's own Dirty Sexy Funny, she sends up the general public in ways each more bizarre and hilarious than the last.

She has gone into a kitchen showroom and demanded the salesman put her shopping away before arguing with him and storming out because he didn't fix the taps. She'll play a potty mouthed beautician who complains her breath smells like something unrepeatable.

She'll take a toaster back to an electrical shop complaining that the hard drive is broken, although she wouldn't use those words.

It's not just the public who will be on the receiving end of Olivia though, with celebrities equally susceptible to being told what she thinks of them.

In addition to Dirty Sexy Funny, Olivia Lee was a roving reporter on Channel 4's Balls Of Steel and had her own show called Naughty Bits.

She presented E4's Unanimous – The Fallout alongside Paddy McGuinness and T4's The Morning After Show with Simon Amstell.

She can play it straight once in a while and has interviewed numerous Hollywood stars for ITV and T4 movie specials and chats to celebrities on the red carpet for E! Channel.

Over in America, Olivia hosted Battle of the Bods on the Fox Reality Channel and has also taken her talents the highly regarded Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2010.

Olivia Lee is a woman with more guts than anyone you've ever met. She can both ridicule the public and rip apart a celebrity, just for our amusement. That said, it's highly likely that she enjoys it too.
