Comedy Central Live: Accessibility Information
Comedy Central is committed to making our festival as accessible as possible for all our customers.
Please read all the information here before attending Comedy Central Live.
If the information below does not answer your query, please contact Hannah on the following email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You should receive a response within roughly 10 working days. This may be longer when nearer the time of the festival, so please do try to be as patient as possible.
Comedy Central Live is an outdoor event utilising Hoglands Park, and this can pose some mobility problems, particularly in bad weather conditions.
If it rains it may get muddy and access around the site (other than on paths) may be very difficult. We have clear paved routes from most experiences / stages but some concessions, stages etc. can only be reached by grass.
Electric wheelchairs can tackle most areas without too much trouble but the ground can be uneven in places and is predominantly on grass.
We do not offer any internal transport due to the limitations of moving around the site.
There are 3 major stages and performance areas. The Comedy Central (Main Stage) is 100 metres from the entrance, the CCTV Stage is 180 metres from the entrance and the Comedy Central Stage is 200 metres from the entrance.
The festival site is very flat which should aide mobility around the park.
We offer no car parking onsite, but the nearest Accessible Car Parking is located on Southampton Portland Terrace NCP, Portland Terrace, Southampton, SO14 7EN.
Bookable Access Facilities
Customers requiring assistance throughout the festival are entitled to one free pass for their Personal Assistant. Please note that the individual requiring assistance must have a ticket.

If you feel you require a PA at the festival but do not have any of the above evidence, please contact us via email explaining your requirements, with any evidence you do have, and we will consider it on a case-by-case basis.

All customers who receive a 2 for 1 Personal Assistant Pass are allowed to access the Viewing Platform along with their Personal Assistant, subject to availability.
If you do not require a Personal Assistant pass but feel you will need to access the Viewing Platform, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Medical & Welfare Provisions

The medical tent is located to the left of the entrance as you enter the festival site.
If you have any other questions regarding medical and welfare provisions, please contact us: email@example.com.
If you would like to bring an Assistance Dog to the festival, please contact us directly first. We will request evidence in order for you to do so (this will usually be either be the Dogs’ ID book or evidence of the dog’s training as an Assistance Dog from an ADUK certified organisation).
We would like to advise all customers that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be in use at the festival site.
We recognise that some, particularly those with specific learning difficulties may need to find a space to step away from the crowds and noise. We do our best to provide this but it is difficult in a festival environment.
