South Park: Enemy of the Celebrity?...

Season 13 of South Park kicked off with a bang this year not only taking on a certain cartoon rodent but also teen heartthrobs, the Jonas Brothers.

When Kenny’s new girlfriend Tammy confesses she ‘pleasured’ a fellow student in the parking lot to TGI Fridays, she reveals it was because the Jonas Brothers got her all “tingly”.

Like any hot-blooded teenager (is he even a teenager?) Kenny and Tammy go to a Jonas Brothers concert where they’re both persuaded into wearing purity rings and subsequent abstinence – nooooooo!

Backstage at the concert as the Jonas Brothers complain about their squeaky clean image, none other than a certain famous mouse himself rocks up in all his violent and manipulative glory beating the crap out of them and telling them that they make little girls “gineys” tickle and that their purity rings are the only way for their company can sell sex to little girls.

By the end of the episode, Matt and Trey had successfully soiled the childhood image of Mr. Mouse, made us think twice about the Disney Corporation and insulted the Christian faith and made sure The Jonas Brothers were well and truly South Park’d.

Oh and Kenny died of syphilis. There’s a lesson in there somewhere…
