SATC movie sequel shoots in Morocco

Reports have come in that scenes from the Sex And The City Movie sequel will be filmed in Morocco.

Of course we know that New York is so important in this show that it's virtually a fifth character, but the first SATC movie saw the girls jetting off to Mexico.

It's no surprise then, that portions of the in-development sequel is taking the characters out of their comfort zone, and indeed five weeks of production time will be spent in the North African country.

However, which cast members will be part of the Morocco shoot, or why they're going there, remains a mystery.

So what does this mean? The interesting thing about Hollywood's use of Morocco is that the location has in previous movies stood in for Africa and The Middle East

Could Carrie and Big be going to Morocco on holiday? Perhaps Carrie finally is given some proper journalism and is sent out to a war-torn nation?

Or has Samantha set up her PR business in Dubai? Or maybe one of the cast is travelling over to Africa to get their hands on a designer adopted African baby?
