It’s true! Ricky Gervais to visit Scranton

Ricky Gervais has confirmed that his original Office creation David Brent will be making a trip to the American Scranton branch. *Claps hands with excitement*

Gervais who recently hosted the Golden Globes told The Sun that Brent will clash with his American counterpart Michael Scott played by Steve Carell.

“I think it would be funny for David Brent to walk into the US Office and hear them go ‘Oh my God, there’s two of them!’” Gervais said, “We don’t need to know about Brent’s back story - the English office exists in a cocoon,

“Michael Scott could just bump into Brent who is a bloke from England”

He also added that, “I don’t think we’ll take any of the other UK characters over – we’ll probably leave it with just me as it’s just too complicated.”
