If you weren’t already clued up, a long-awaited documentary about late stand-up legend Bill Hicks is being released this month.
The hugely influential comedian died 16 years ago of pancreatic cancer aged just 32. but still his political insightful and downright hilarious stand-up routines still rank up there amongst the greatest ever delivered.
Now a documentary about Bill Hicks' life is on the cusp of a release and Empire has posted the trailer for the film.
The film apparently combines animation, live stnad up footage and contributions from ten of the people closest to him.
Rumour also has it Russell Crowe is planning his own biopic of the late (dare-we-say-it) genius – whether that materialises is another thing.
You can watch the trailer here.
American: The Bill Hicks Story opens on 14th March.
