One of the biggest gigs in the comedy calendar is to be performed in London for the first time.
For the past four years, the music-and-stand-up show Rock With Laughter has been performed at Birmingham’s NEC – but this year a Wembley Arena date has been added, too.
The gig is hosted by Lenny Henry (pictured) and boasts a line-up including Al Murray, Ed Byrne, and Jo Brand.
Peter Andre risks being the butt of the jokes as part of the musical support act, which also includes Sugababes, Abba tribute act Björn Again and 80’s chart-toppers Bananarama.
Tickets for the event on December 22 went on sale this morning.
Meanwhile, the show will continue to be held in Birmingham, with shows at the NEC on Decmber 18 and 19.
Comics performing there include Alan Carr, Lee Mack, Dara O Briain and Shappi Khorsandi; while Phill Jupitus will be taking a musical role – fronting the Blockheads in place of the late Ian Drury.
