Frank Skinner is working on a new TV talk show, which appears to have been inspired by the high-spirited audience debates from daytime television.
Opinionated will feature two comedians as guests, but the emphasis will be on letting the audience have their say.
The stand-ups will examine both sides of an argument before debate is opened to the floor.
Producers promise ‘lively and thought-provoking debate… while keeping a very close eye on the funny side’.
Skinner is recording a pilot episode of the show in BBC Television Centre next month.
The move comes more than four years after his ITV chat show came to an end, at which time Skinner announced he was going to leave television work to concentrate on live stand-up.
