Edgar Wright is still keeping tight-lipped over his third big screen collaboration with Shaun of the Dead star and fellow Spaced alumnus Simon Pegg.

In an interview with Radio 1’s Newsbeat, Wright reveals the film will be “mint choc chip flavoured” (the duo once mentioned their films were meant to represent the three flavours of Cornetto ice cream).

Reminiscing about writing Hot Fuzz, Wright said due to their escalating popularity after Shaun of the Dead “we had to leave London and switch off the internet to finish writing. I'll think it'll have to be the same with the new one.”

So the next time we don’t hear from the both for a while we can clap our hands excitedly waiting for the next ‘Cornetto installment’.

Meanwhile Wright has been co-writing the Tin Tin adaptation alongside Joe Cornish.

“We worked in conjunction with Peter Jackson and Stephen Spielberg and it's an absolutely fascinating process. Those films take four years to make or more, it'll be out Christmas 2011. It's an enormous, huge piece of work.”

When asked whether he’s been approached to direct one of the plethora of vampire movies out there, Wright replied “every year there has been a vampire movie for the last 60 years or more - or TV shows. They never went away, so part of me is sick of vampires!...Enough vampires please!”
