Well ‘butter my arse’ it seems we’re definitely getting an Alan Partridge movie! Aha!
Empire has announced that Alan Partridge aka Steve Coogan is finally underway with planning Alan Patridge the movie.
Coogan revealed that it’s yet to be written but "we're doing a deal right now - I can't say who with - and there'll probably be an official announcement in the next couple of months."
A few years ago there were rumours of plotline involving an Al-Qaeda siege but it was "shelved in the name of good taste after the London bombings"
The film will be a US production but Coogan vows that he’s "not going to try and Americanise it,
"It’ll be a British fool/idiot character in a movie that should appeal to everybody."
Coogan hopes that shooting for Alan Partridge The Movie will start at "the back end of next year"
