Hanes has withdrawn adverts featuring Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen following his Christmas Day troubles.
Digital Spy learns that the adverts for Hanes’ ‘Comfortsoft’ undershirt line have been suspended “until further notice”.
The ads featured Sheen alongside basketball legend Michael Jordan (remember Space Jam….?).
People published a statement from Hanes spokesman Matthew Hall: “We suspended the commercials on December 28…Some were seen on the 25th, 26th, 27th as we could not reach the networks over the holiday weekend.”
Meanwhile it has been reported that Sheen spent New Years Eve with his ex-wife Denise Richards. Sheen and Richards were married for four years and have two daughters, Sam and Lola, together.
A ‘friend’ of Sheen told E! Online: “He came to their house and everyone had dinner together” and on Sheen’s arrest they said “He's s**tting his pants right now. He's scared. He just wants it to go away.”
Yesterday Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer described Sheen as a “lovely guy” who has been “incredibly professional” about the whole commotion.
