30 Rock actor Rip Torn has been arrested for breaking into a bank he thought was his house.
According to Metro, the Dodgeball and Men in Black star was found wielding a loaded revolver in a “highly intoxicated” state wandering inside the Litchfield Bancorp in Salisbury.
“Troopers gained entry into the building and immediately confronted the male and took him into custody” said a state police spokesman. “He was in possession of a loaded revolver”.
He is due to appear in court today charged with burglary, criminal mischief, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, trespass and possession of a firearm without a permit.
Torn who stars in 30 Rock as network head Don Geiss, has a history with alcohol abuse.
In 2008 he was arrested for drink driving after the authorities spotted him driving erratically with a Christmas tree attached to his roof. He was also arrested in 2004 for reportedly crashing into a taxi drunk but was later found not guilty.
