The third instalment of the Men in Black franchise may have a visit from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The Bruno star has been linked along with Flight of the Conchords’ Jermaine Clement to play a new character called ‘Yaz’ in the sequel.
No further details about the character have been released to we’ll just have to wait to see if Cohen get’s extra-terrestrialized (is that a word? – I now declare it one!).
The script, penned by Tropic Thunder co-writer Etan Cohen sees Will Smith’s character Agent J sent back in time to team up with a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones character ‘K’, who Josh Brolin has reportedly been approached to play.
Original MiB director Barry Sonnenfeld is also reportedly back on board to direct.
According to Empire Sony are apparently still ‘solidly’ behind MiB3 and hope to get it into production before the summer.
