A recent Jimmy Carr gig was interrupted by an audience member popping the question.
At the comedian’s gig in Croydon over the weekend Adam Oliver proposed to his girlfriend Selina during the Q&A part of the show which encourages audience participation.
Jimmy, naturally, couldn’t let this one lie and apparently ripped into the pair…
A source told The Sun: “Jimmy asked them both to stand up and said you can’t just interrupt his show like that and not get away with being teased.
“So he started berating them for being from Croydon, asking them why they were getting married when she wasn’t pregnant. It was all in good fun and the couple looked embarrassed but they were also laughing along.”
Carr later tweeted: “Croydon tonight and an audience member called Adam Oliver proposed to Selina - she’s not even pregnant - a first for Croydon. Congratulations.”
