Alec Baldwin will be starring in Woody Allen’s next film, a comedy set in Rome.
The Oscar winning writer/director/actor is venturing abroad after claiming that shooting in New York City, where he generally shoots most of his films, has become too expensive Deadline writes.
The 30 Rock star will also possibly be joined by The Social Network’s Jesse Eisenberg for a lead role.
Baldwin who recently was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last teamed up with Allen in 1990 for the comedy Alice recently announced that he plans to leave 30 Rock next year to concentrate on other things.
