Needless to say we’re pant-wettingly excited to see Kutcher returning to the show as Walden Schmidt after the success of his taking the reigns from Charlie Sheen in America’s hit comedy.
Deadline writes that Ashton, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are ‘inches away’ from signing new one-year deals to remain on the sitcom with Kutcher keeping his measly salary of $700,000 per episode. Peanuts.
The deals are expected to be signed and sealed in blood by May 16th just after Season 9 concludes in the U.S.
With ten seasons potentially in the bag will Chuck Lorre be happy ending the series with a nice round number or will go for broke and rival classics like Frasier, Cheers and M*A*S*H which all made it to eleven. We wait with baited breath!
