Stewart Lee, Victoria Wood and the cast of The Inbetweeners were the winners at Friday night's 2011 British Comedy Awards.

Stewart Lee was crowned best male television comic while Victoria Wood took home the female equivalent. The Inbetweeners were honoured with an outstanding achievement award.

The glittering show was hosted by Jonathan Ross and featured a selection of high profile award-givers including Dame Helen Mirren and Kylie Minogue.
