Catherine Tate, Ray Romano and James Spader (the dude from Stargate) have all been confirmed to guest star in the seventh season finale of The Office prompting even more speculation as to who could be made a potential full time employee at Dunder Mifflin.
TV Line reports that the trio will be vying for the vacant office manager position and will star alongside the already confirmed Will Arnett and the return of Ricky Gervais as David Brent.
Last year it all started with Rhys Darby and Danny McBride being tipped to fill Steve Carell’s shoes, then came along the excitement of Will Ferrell’s four episode stint in the show, until those hopes for a full time part were dashed.
It’s also looking unlikely that Will Arnett will be able to juggle a full time job in Scranton what with a pilot comedy project in the works with Christina Applegate.
