Charlie Sheen has hit the headlines again in a dissing Two and a Half Men and then undissing it-kind of way.
Like you’re surprised, right!? This is Charlie Sheen.
Last week, he said, ‘I’m tired of lying. I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck. I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck.
I’m tired of pretending like they’re not completely adrift. Because when you take away the anchor of your show, you’re adrift. … These guys are like approaching salvage vessel, you know? … When the show was good, it was great. But now, there’s just nothing about it that’s interesting. I forget that it’s on the air. It’s kind of like leaving your child behind with somebody and them not really taking very good care of it.’
He’s since reneged on his comments and written an open letter to Kutcher: ‘Dear Ashton, my bad. I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir.’
The ever-watchful (you may say ‘creepy’) TMZ were the people who got hold of this letter.
And obviously there’s still some stuff in there that makes us feel itchy-scratchy but we made a pledge to you to bring you news of such business… and…
Moving on really quickly, let’s just say, ‘We love a happy ending. Ahh.
Two and a Half Men...with Ashton Kutcher returns to Comedy Central next Monday at 9pm.
