Charlie Sheen found the Season 9 opener of Two and a Half Men a little ‘odd’ and ‘very f*cking morbid’, according to one of his roasters Jeffrey Ross.
Ross who had grilled the ex-Two and a Half Men star at The Roast of Charlie Sheen record just days earlier was invited round to Sheen’s pad on Monday night to watch his exit from the long-running sitcom as well as his Comedy Central Roast later that night.
REVEALED: Charlie Harper’s explosive exit from Two and a Half Men
Surrounded by friends like Kate Walsh, Steve-O and Mike Tyson, Sheen reportedly ‘rolled his eyes’ at a fart joke but ‘seemed genuinely thrilled’ when Holland Taylor (Eveyln) and Angus T. Jones (Jake) nailed their lines.
Asking Charlie how he felt watching his funeral live on television Jeffrey wrote:
I whispered, ‘How do you feel?’
‘Odd,’ he answered.
Moments later it got even odder when Jon Cryer began talking to an urn full of Charlie’s ashes. ‘Oy, this is morbid,’ I blurted out.
Charlie looked at me to make sure I wasn't kidding. ‘Yes, very fucking morbid,’ he said.

On Ashton Kutcher's entrance Sheen apparently seemed impressed at the reaction and said ‘Wow. They gave him a fucking entrance like a movie.’
Charlie could then relax to watch the transmission of his Roast - the upside of being the subject of a Roast is you’ve already been there and heard the nasty jokes said to your face!
Jokes such as Seth MacFarlane’s: ‘On Two and a Half Men tonight, they're apparently having a funeral for Charlie’s character. But there’s no need to switch over. In a few months, you can probably see the real thing’ were water off a ducks back.

Ross ended by describing the healing power of a roast:
‘As I puffed my way home, it suddenly hit me like a lamp flying across one of Charlie's hotel suites. Our comedy intervention had cured him. Our verbal beat down was so vicious and real that it actually humbled the guy back to normal… Charlie Sheen the nut job is finally ready to be Charlie Sheen the actor again.
This guy is so ready to come back big, it's not even funny. Once again, roasting saves lives.
