Highlights of the night included Miranda Hart (pictured) winning her spoof MasterChef sketch against Ruby Wax and Claudia Winkleman, Fake That auditioning in front of the real man-band and The Inbetweeners’ on their Rude Road Trip.
After crashing the Radio 1 site earlier in the day, Fearne Cotton delighted millions by donning her swimsuit again live on air after Alan Carr’s plea for £1million worth of text message donations was reached in an hour.
There were other appearances from comics including Jack Whitehall, Kevin Bridges, Jimmy Carr and Michael McIntyre as well as performances from Adele, JLS and The Wanted made this year’s effort one to remember.
