Tina Fey has confirmed that Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be making a guest appearance on 30 Rock later this season.

Last week Fey announced on the Leonard Lopate Show that Rice would be making an appearance five seasons after her and Jack Donaghy supposedly dated.

‘I’m going to make an executive decision that I’m allowed to talk about this,’ she said, ‘we have Condoleezza Rice coming up in a couple weeks on the show.’

30 Rock always has guest star requests coming out of its figurative ear holes to which Fey said: ‘Every now and then we hear that someone wants to come, but usually we ask them, usually we try and do it where we write the part first so that we have something good to offer them, ‘cause all actors like to see, you know, a juicy part.

‘We have some good- coming up in the next few weeks before we wrap [season 5], we have another few amazing cameos.’

Season 5 has already seen the return of guest stars Matt Damon and Jon Hamm to 30 Rock with Queen Latifah, Mad Men’s John Slattery and Kelsey Grammer also joining in on the larks.

Another ‘Big’ confirmation for later this series is the man who saved Private Ryan himself Tom Hanks. Wowzas.
