The dwarves in Snow White and the Huntsman aren’t the cutesy Disney type we’re accustomed to though, they’re ‘warrior dwarves’.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that in the Rupert Sanders directed take on the fairytale, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays Snow White as a ‘princess who escapes her evil stepmother (Charlize Theron) with the help of a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) who was to have killed her but now trains the princess to survive and fight back.’
Bob Hoskins is in talks to play Constantine, a blind dwarf, Izzard is set to play Tiberius, described as the ‘biggest and burliest’ of the lot, and Ian McShane (Lovejoy!) will play leader of the dwarfs, Caesar.
No sign of Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful and the like then…
