The Daily Mail has this week decided to wag their fingers at the loveable Dara O’Briain for effectively being good at what he does after pointing out that he’d featured on no less than five BBC shows of late. Quick get the burning torches! Jeez.

Earlier this week, columnist Ephraim Hardcastle probed the BBC saying they’ve ‘developed a crush’ on the ‘burly Irish comedian’. So what?

The stand-up and Mock The Week host presented the three-night run of Stargazing Live this week on BBC 2 alongside Professor Brian Cox just weeks after finishing hosting duties on weekly Apprentice spin-off show You’re Fired!

Add to that his Mock the Week, Three Men Go to Scotland and Have I Got News For You, Dara is proof that he’s a face people want to see on their boxes.

Dara responded on Twitter saying: ‘Happy to say that the recent confluence of telly shows featuring me is now finished. Not on again (bar repeats) until at least March.’

Don’t stay away too long Dara!
