Ryan Dunn’s friends have been sharing their memories on the Dickhouse website in a series of emotional blog posts.

Jackass leader Johnny Knoxville expressed what he couldn’t articulate at Dunn’s memorial on Wednesday describing his friend ‘as loyal as they come’.

‘Ryan was a great listener,’ he said. ‘If you were having troubles, he was always someone you could go sit down and talk to...That’s why all this is even harder because right now I really need to talk to him but I can’t.

Ryan Dunn died last week in the early hours of Monday morning. The car he was driving after a night out crashed, killing him and his passenger Zachary Hartwell.

Knoxville described how upset he was to have to tell his daughter Madison and tell her Ryan was ‘gone’ and that his son Rocko and daughter due later this year will never get to know him.

He finished with ‘You’ll have to excuse me. I’m just very sad because I lost my brother and my world got about 134-percent less funny. I don’t know what else to say right now, so I will close with I love you, Ryan. I have a lot of emotions swirling, but I want you to know I love you so very much.

Steve-O recalled some favourite memories of Dunn including this tale:

‘I’ll never forget, one day, I while was eating raw veggies on the set of Jackass 3D, he started laughing hysterically and said, ‘You went from eating crack rocks off dead hookers to organic broccoli.’ He was f*cking hilarious, and genuinely supportive of me choosing a healthier lifestyle.

‘He actually cared about me, which is amazing if you knew what an annoying asshole I’ve been most of my life. I didn’t deserve his kindness, but he gave it to me anyway.

‘I wish I was more like Ryan Dunn, this world now sucks way more without him.’
