At the end of April, they’re shooting a pilot of what’s described as a warm-hearted family sitcom (so we doubt there’ll be too much peenage in there which makes us feel a little better).
The show is described thus: Having recently fallen on hard times, and much to the annoyance of his wife Dana and son Mike, the family is forced to move back up North and back in with his retired parents. And if three generations under one roof wasn't bad enough, his parents are celebrating their retirement with a new hobby – naturism’
Jason Manford has previously acted in the BBC Three sitcom Ideal and is taking to the stage this summer with a stint in the West End production of Sweeney Todd during July.
