It’s been a big old week for the true star that is the one and only, Ms Jennifer Aniston, ladies and gentleman.

She’s been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame… Everyone knows this is a big deal, it means people will forever be reminded of the star she is as they saunter down the block in a city where televisual magic happens on a daily basis.

She’s been talking to the Hollywood Reporter, whom as you can imagine have more than a passing interest in such business…

She says of the honour, ‘It’s epic. I have such memories of walking up and down the streets of Hollywood, going to the Wax Museum and Grauman’s Chinese and seeing all those things. Not in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine [having a star]. It’s surreal, and you feel humbled. You take a little inventory and ask yourself: “What more are we going to do? What do we have left to do? Have we done enough to get this thing?’

Hollywood held a ceremony to celebrate such merriment which was attended by her Just Go With It co-star Adam Sandler and Wanderlust castmates Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn as well as her Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux and father, actor John Aniston.

Unveiling her star, she said: ‘It feels very surreal to be honest. I was born here and it's sort of something you went and saw as a kid and got excited about just walking and seeing the names.

‘To imagine that you're going to be there is really special. It's fun.’

At the ceremony, Adam Sandler saluted her and paid tribute to her haircut (really) and her role in the 1993 horror film Leprechaun.

You surely remember that one.

He said, ‘She prayed for three things: to have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her hair, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here.’
