Jerry Seinfeld has a new car show coming but has ruled out any future arena gigs in today’s ‘What’s going on with Jerry Seinfeld?’ update.

Talking to the Daily Mail, the 57-year-old comedian talked about his O2 arena gig last year as ‘a special night. I'll never forget it’ but also revealed, ‘I won't perform this size of show again. These things have their critical mass, which does not sustain indefinitely.

’I'm 57 now. Do you really want to see a 67-year-old guy in front of 10,000 people? I don't want to. I'm going to let it wither and die.’

However, more details are coming together about his new co-project with Ricky Gervais about classic cars. We hinted about it before in our ever so insightful post about The Return of Jerry Seinfeld

However, The Daily has just revealed that the show is to be called Comics and Cars and will feature Seinfeld with various special guests sharing stories and test-driving cars from their youth. Like, yeah…

More than that we only know from his Twitter feed where he called the show the 'New Seiny gig.' and hinted that he and former writing partner Larry David had been driving a 1952 Volkswagen.

But if you like your Seinfeld up, close and personal you’ll be pleased to know he’s currently touring the UK and Ireland.
