Josie Long is among those nominated for this year’s Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for her show ‘The Future is Another Place’.

The Utter Shambles fruit and veg muncher will again be vying for the £10,000 prize having been nominated last year but lucking out to the unstoppable Russell Kane – could this be her year?

Also nominated were Andrew Maxwell, Adam Riches, Nick Helm, Sam Simmons and Chris Ramsey.

Good luck to all! The winners will be announced on Saturday no doubt followed by masses of alcohol and haggis.
