Channel 4’s topical stand up show Stand Up For The Week will be back for a second series, but it seems Patrick Kielty has been dropped in favour of Kevin Bridges taking up the mantle as host.

‘I’m chuffed to be back for a second series of SUFTW on Channel 4,’ Bridges said.

‘I’m excited to be hosting the show this time, it’s a brilliant line up and hopefully we can capture everything that makes a comedy club gig work and bring it to Friday night TV. It’s just 100% pure stand up comedy. Enjoy.’

Returning regulars, Jack Whitehall, Andi Osho and Rich Hall are all back to give their unique take on sport, politics, celebrity and the internet and they’ll also welcome Jon Richardson to the pack when the series returns on 11th March.
