Lisa Kudrow finds herself fending off ‘endless’ requests from Friends fans to sing her famous Phoebe Buffay song ‘Smelly Cat’.

‘I thought some of the other songs were hilarious,’ she told The AV Club. ‘I don’t know why that’s the only one that took off.

‘Some of the others were really, truly funny…Not that ‘Smelly Cat’ wasn’t [catchy], but why that one? Why not, say, ‘The Cow in the Meadow Goes Moo’?’

Exactly, that one was informative too. ...‘and that’s how we get hamburgerrrrrs’

She also reflected on spending some with Friends guest star Hank Azaria who played sexy scientist guy David.

‘I loved when [Phoebe] was with David, the physics guy,’ she added. ‘That’s Hank Azaria. I can’t wait to see his new show [Free Agents on NBC]. He’s so talented and fun to work with. He’s hilarious. Hank’s just great.’

Friends will be coming to Comedy Central UK this autumn. Needless to say, we’re very excited so to summarise our feelings we’ll use the iconic words of Janice Litman-Garelnick: ‘OH. MY. GAWD!’
