Alan Carr and Isy Suttie have been crowned Funniest Man and Woman at this year’s Loaded LAFTA Awards.

Jimmy Carrand Rich Hall were also given legendary status in the awards which are voted for by the public. Carr was awarded Loaded Legend while Hall was named their Stand Up Legend.

Andy Sherwood, Loaded’s editor said: ‘This year’s awards just highlight the fantastic calibre of comedic talent we have in the UK across live stand-up, television, radio and film and we’re delighted to be celebrating such stellar talent at this year’s Loaded LAFTAS!’

Elsewhere Michael McIntyre won Best Stand Up and Reeves & Mortimer were awarded Best Double Act.

Rhod Gilbert scored a double winning Best Panel Show for Ask Rhod Gilbert as well as winning the Funniest TV Personality award.

Omid Djalili’s The Infidel won Funniest Film but in a weird turn of events Phone Shop won Funniest TV Show beating shoe-ins Peep Show and The Inbetweeners to the title. Who would’ve thunk it?
