Matt LeBlanc is returning to sitcom Episodes this May – and naturally has been talking about such things as actors do, but not before he was quizzed on Friends.

Friends (yay): he says, ‘It was the best ten years of my life. I had the best time doing it. But I don't think 'miss' is the right word. It will always have a special place in my heart, but that was a time and a place and that chapter is closed.’

‘It was very sad when it ended but you move on - all good things come to an end.’

We guess, we’re no closer to a Friends reunion, then.

So what of Episodes? ‘My whole career I have played very politically correct characters and to not have to worry about major network constraints - you can't say that or you can't do that gesture or put your hand there or refer to those - is such fun. Now it's like “**** all that.”’

The show will see Matt LeBlanc playing Matt LeBlanc in a sitcom called Pucks, based in a sitcom. If you’ve seen the first series this should make some kind of sense, if you haven’t, who cares - this has got Matt LeBlanc in it.
