Miranda has been nominated for Best New British TV Comedy, Best Sitcom and Hart as Best Comedy Actress as well as the People’s Choice award.
Harry can sit happy knowing he’s up for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme for TV Burp, Best Comedy Entertainment Personality and the People’s Choice award as well.
Harry is also vying for Best Male Comic against David Mitchell and Michael McIntyre whilst in the female category it’s Jo Brand, Sarah Millican and Shappi Khorsandi.
Alongside Harry and Miranda in the running for the ‘People’s Choice Award for the King or Queen of Comedy 2010’ award are Michael McIntyre, David Mitchell, and Ant and Dec. No sign of the Frank Chickens at these awards though…!
In the 2005 awards Ant and Dec were wrongly given the award which should have gone to Catherine Tate.
It later came to light that to guarantee Robbie Williams attendance ceremony organisers told him he could present a prize to Ant and Dec. Naughty!
