Deadline seems to think that the first episode is going to be a two-parter opening with Charlie Harper’s funeral. How he’ll die they’re not so sure.

Apparently a bunch of his ex-girlfriends will return to pay their respects and his Malibu beach house where Alan and Jake live will be put up for sale leaving the door open for many potential movie star buyers to snap up the pad.
