Burnham, will write and act as an Exexcutive Producer on the show.
"He had a such a great take on who he is and what the post-high school millennial generation experience is all about," said David Janollari, MTV's exec VP of scripted development. "Everything he said and talked about felt so authentic, and that authenticity was the most important thing. This is all about taking his voice and vision and putting it into a half-hour comedy."
Bo Burnham said the show "would be funny, but have something to say at the end of the day."
Bo has had a great year so far in 2010, was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award last month. He will appear on Comedy Central US in October with his own special.
