Everyone already knows it but *officially* Charlie Sheen was the highest paid TV actor of the last year.

The ex-Two and a Half Men star earned an estimated $40 million between May 2010 and 2011 say Forbes although that figure is probably shy of around the rumoured $25 million that he, Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros decided to settle Sheen’s Two and a Half Men lawsuit with.

Will he make as much next year? Probably not but we’ll just have to wait and see how his TV series Anger Management fairs whenever that may surface.

For now though it looks like Ashton Kutcher has taken Charlie’s crown currently as the highest paid actor on television in the new Two and a Half Men which FYI you can see Mondays at 9pm on Comedy Central!

Back to the list though and in second place, another Comedy Central face Ray Romano earned $20 million who, even after having his sitcom Men of a Certain Age cancelled, he still brings home the bacon from Everybody Loves Raymond and from voicing Manny in the Ice Age films.

..and in third, yet another Comedy Central star, The Office star Steve Carell who $15 million. What a big package! That’s what she said.
