Sky1 has commissioned a second series of the Welsh valleys sitcom which sees Ruth as a single mum muddling on through.
So this probably means that we can now call her Stella's Ruth Jones from now on.

Says Ruth - though we almost called her Stella for a moment - 'I'm over the moon that Sky want more Stella. I'm looking forward to getting back to Pontyberry, even though the place doesn't exist.'
You may feel the same if you've seen her show and you may feel similar thoughts with the news that the channel has also recommissioned The Cafe, which stars Ralf Little.
It would seem these Sky1 pretenders are upping their game on the comedy front: they've got a whole host of other comedic output coming: Spy and Trollied are back and there are new shows in the works, Parents, starring Sally Phillips and Tom Conti, and Chris O'Dowd's Moone Boy.
