We have already seen General Aladeen pour ‘Kim Jong-Ill’s ashes over Ryan Seacrest's suit in a bid to grab our attention. The Dictator was also meant to be appearing on BBC shows such as The Graham Norton Show, The One Show, Newsnight and The Andrew Marr Show. However the shows have pulled out.
A ‘source’ that hangs around with Cohen told The Sun...
“Everyone came back and said they were declining to have him in character on air”
We think this may because he might pour some ashes of a dead person on someone, however this could just be us.
The Dicator General Aladeen commented on this situation (its Sacha Baron Cohen in a beard), saying...
"While I am a huge admirer of state-sponsored censorship, the BBC banning me from their meagre channels is an outrage.
"Why are they victimising little old me?"
However, since such words have been said, a spokesperson for the BBC has piped up, saying that they would love the comedian to appear as himself, just not as General Aladeen...
"Our chat shows thrive on the spontaneous banter between guests and the presenter, something you don't get when people come on as a character. We'd love to have Sacha on as himself."
We are sure that Cohen, sorry, General Aladeen will turn up ‘unannounced’ at some point soon.
