Earlier this week the Daily Mail learnt from a ‘mole’ (who is now NOT to be trusted!) that SJP had been in meetings with producers to bring the show back to the small screen.
However her rep has told Access Hollywood that that was ‘completely false’. Boo.
Meanwhile Michael Patrick King will be having nothing to do with a proposed Sex and the City prequel –he hasn’t even read the book!
‘I’m not working on any Sex and The City prequel at all’ he said. ‘My Carrie Bradshaw started at 33, and I took her to 43…I didn’t even want to know who Carrie Bradshaw’s parents were because I thought she just existed in Manhattan.
‘So for me, the idea of going backwards and making her less evolved, because the whole Sex and The City was about going from 33 to growth, so for me the idea of going backwards is something that I don’t even imagine doing.’
On the plus side Austin Powers 4 is on its way with Mike Myers back as the International Man of Mystery. Yay!
