30 Rock walked away with a GLAAD award over the weekend with the award for Outstanding Individual Episode.
The award was given for the episode ‘Klaus & Greta’ in which Liz lets a cousin stay with her after outing him to the family over the holidays and James Franco reveals he’s in love with a Japanese body pillow!
Elsewhere True Blood won Outstanding Drama Series and Ricky Martin was awarded the Vito Russo Award for helping combat homophobia, and was also given the award for Outstanding Talk Show Appearance for his guest slot on Oprah last year following his decision to come out.
During the ceremony Tina Fey, who accepted 30 Rock’s award, was invited on stage for a fun quiz – a bit of ‘Fey on Gay’- and using Ricky Martin’s chat with Oprah as a springboard Fey was asked how she’d choose to come out if she were gay to which she replied: ‘I would say either halftime at the Super Bowl would be good, or also it might be kind of weird to do it in the middle of the in-memoriam at the Oscars.’
She was also asked who she’d ‘go gay’ for: ‘Um, I don’t know, people have asked me this before, and my stock answer is usually Oprah. But, uh, I would say maybe Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman.’
Meanwhile things have been getting interesting in the latest season of 30 Rock. Try and make out what these photos are about when some 30 Rock stars were papped out and about filming in the ‘burbs of NYC this week:
