Fey told MTV that her excitement about the season five episode, due to air in the States on Thursday, is now turning into nerves.
‘It seems that in this show I’m going to have to do the most running around the studio,’ she said.
‘So I was a little nervous about that, but I think I literally asked the costume designer to get me black Easy Spirit sneakers; hopefully no-one will see. I really need grandma-style shoes to run around the studio.
‘Many things could go terribly wrong. So tune in!’
Although if it does go balls-up the first time, they will at least get a do-over. The cast will be performing the episode twice on the night; once for east coast viewers and again an hour later for the west coasters.
