On top of all that, Cybill finds that it's not easy being a struggling, middle-aged actress as she attempts to make a career in Hollywood while still being acting out, or not in some cases, he parental duties. Still, she braves each new challenge that comes her way, while having the time of her life discovering that life after forty is anything but downhill.
This series proved that Cybill has not lost any of the warm and charismatic charm that she showcased so well in the 80's classic comedy series Moonlighting and that she is strong enough a comic actress to carry her own show without the might of Bruce Willis.
