Full Biography
Moose was a talented Jack Russell Terrier, truly dedicated to his role as Martin Crane’s faithful dog and partner-in-crime Eddie until his tragic death in 2006.
A native of Florida, Moose was born on Christmas Eve 1990, one of ten pups. His story is one of overnight success.
Thrown into the spotlight, his fame can only be matched by the likes of Lassie, The Littlest Hobo and Roly from EastEnders.
He graced the covers of such notable US publications as Life, TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly, as well as joining the ranks of Cindy Crawford and Jordan with his own calendar. During the height of the show’s popularity, Moose received more fan mail than any of his human co-stars.
Moose ventured into publishing with his autobiography My Life As A Dog co-written with Brian Hargrove and is survived by his son Enzo, who was actually used towards the end of Frasier’s run for the more strenuous scenes.
He died peacefully of natural causes at his home. Moose, RIP.
