Full Biography

Roz Doyle is Frasier’s independent, fast-talking, savvy radio producer who offers wry outlooks on his callers and his life.

Constantly on the hunt for the perfect man – and working her way through most of Seattle’s male population – Roz often looks set to become romantically attached to Frasier in many classic “will they won’t they” moments throughout the series.

Peri was born Periwinkle Kay O’Brian (nice) on May 27th 1961 in Waco Texas and from the age of eight, Peri knew that she wanted to be an actress and was enrolled in the Dallas Theatre Centre, where she studied for ten years.

During that time Peri performed in various stage productions and crammed in as many adverts as possible.

Peri then moved to the University of Texas in Austin where she studied drama, and then moved over to Britain to attend the British-American Academy in London.

When she returned to America, she discovered a newfound talent as a make-up artist and found herself in great demand on TV and film sets in Dallas.

Despite enjoying this profession, she wanted to get back into acting and soon won parts in several stage productions, including Guys and Dolls, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Moving to Los Angeles she appeared in several TV dramas until she successfully landed the role of Roz Doyle.

Peri currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, with whom she had twins born via a surrogate mother.
