Our leading lady Molly is played by the lovely Melissa McCarthy.
Melissa McCarthy first made her mark on the comedy stage, performing stand up in New York at The Improv and Stand Up New York and as part of The Groundlings Main Company, a world-renowned improv and sketch troupe.
You might recognise Melissa from her guise as Dena in Samantha Who>? or as the clumsy culinary genius, Sookie St. James, in Gilmore Girls.
She has enjoyed a leading role in the film The Nines, starring Hope Davis and Ryan Reynolds, and provided strong supporting roles in the independent films One Part Sugar, and in Pretty Ugly People.
Other appearances include Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Life of David Gale, and Charlie’s Angels.
