Created by Atkinson, Richard Curtis and Robin Driscoll, only fourteen episodes of Mr Bean were ever filmed.
However, the episodes have been sold to over 200 territories worldwide and spawned an animated series as well as a hughely successful movie directed by Atkinson's old buddy from Not The Nine O'Clock News, Mel Smith.
A masterclass in physical comedy, this is about as far removed from Blackadder as you can get, but it's no less funny and demonstrates why Rowan Atkinson is one of the best comedy actors this country has ever produced!
