Description
When Cotton Weary, the man who was wrongly convicted of killing Maureen Prescott, is murdered along with his girlfriend, interest in the Woodsboro murders is re-ignited, with Gale (Courtney Cox Arquette) and Dewey (David Arquette) on the trail of a new murderer.
Things get complicated when a cast member of the movie Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro is murdered, Dewey and Gale realise that the killer is killing people in the order they die in the script.
Meanwhile original Scream queen Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now a recluse, is drawn back in to the game via a series of horrific attacks, and united the three of them gather together the remaining cast members and try to stop this new murderous rampage.
So begins a race against time before everyone is dispatched in increasingly innovative an amusing ways.
Unusually for a franchise Scream 3 is actually pretty good. It retains the wit and imagination of the original without making what is essentially a rehash of the previous films tired and dull.
If you like scary movies with more than a fair share of laugh, this is definitely for you.
