Charlotte is more conservative than the rest of her friends and believes in rules and regulations when it comes to dating.

From day one of the show she is desperately trying to find the perfect man to marry.

Although she's a bit more traditional than the others when it comes to love, Charlotte gets a generous helping of sex throughout the series. But it's not always good.

After a short courtship, Charlotte marries Trey, who appears to be the prince charming she was hoping for. But he has impotency issues, which eventually leads to the break down of their brief marriage.

She then hooks up with her Jewish divorce lawyer, Harry Goldenblatt. He's the complete opposite of what Charlotte normally looks for in a man, yet she falls completely in love with him and converts to Judaism so they can get married.

When broody Charlotte struggles to conceive a child with Harry they look into adopting a little girl from China.
